Bassnectar Explains Dubstep (in under 3 minutes)
I thought this was pretty interesting. Worth checking out as he explains the differences between many electronic genres while also ultimately explaining dubstep. And it's even short and to the point at under 3 minutes.

ReplyDeleteI can explain even faster: 140bpm, kick on the one, snare on the three. Easy as can be.
ReplyDeleteBut sub you don't have the history tied up in your explanation. Any way you explain it, without organic samples I find it irritating.
