Goldfish - We Come Together [Video]

I thought this video was quite awesome in many ways. Not only is the music funky and refreshing but the video has so many references and memes in it that every second is worth watching. Careful not to blink you might miss something haha. The art style of resembling old school graphics is simply amazing and brings nostalgia all in one package.

I found it on Bulletproof Zombie's Blog so credit is due where credit is due.

PrototypeRaptor

Today we'll be looking at PrototypeRaptor who is another upbeat melodic electro/house/dubstep enthusiast. I have a hard time picking what tracks to put here because I like all of them! His remixes bring new life to old songs I love and even his quote on quote "studio reject failures" sound flipping awesome! The first tune on his "studio reject" (I believe is supposed to be called 'Drive Mustang') is actually my favorite! I'm shocked to see his play count on his soundcloud so low. I have a feeling PrototypeRaptor is about to explode in popularity.

With an early introduction to the world of house and music production at the age of 13, PrototypeRaptor (aka Jonathan Paulsen), now 21, has been a relatively unknown, yet consistent force of electronic music. After fashioning his iconic “R” out of lines taken from his sequencer, he quickly became known for combining his electro-fidget sensibilities with an unusual melodic design. I can certainly see the Wolfgang Gartner & Porter Robinson influence in his tracks.

Most of the tracks I'm sharing after the jump are melodic electro house but the last song, Flashback, is actually a brilliant progressive house track. He does have a tendency to put several songs inside one so be aware.

Nero ft. Sub Focus – Promises (Skrillex & Nero Remix)

Nero, Sub Focus and Skrillex teamed up to make this track and the result is "womp womp" ish lol. Very dubstep, heavy, and contains vicious bass. It starts off with beautiful vocals (which actually is what sold me on this tune specifically). Despite my bias against dubstep, I find myself blasting this one in the car with the subwoofer.

I originally chose the Pikachu for my avatar because I loved pokemon as a young kid but also because Pikachu is ELECTRIC! It also cracks me up to see a super buff Pikachu.

Last time I saw something from "The M Machine", they previewed a track called Metropolis which was epic! (Read after the jump to see the video) Today they have a free download for their first full exclusive published track (as far as I can tell). Reminds me of the Felguk style Electro House and I just love it! I'm sure this is just one track of many coming from their new album.

Vodge Diper - Only After Midnight & Turn Up The Bass

Two tracks from Mr. Vodge Diper today. Both melodic electro but the 2nd track he calls "Electro Meets Destroyer-Of-Worlds-Step" genre.

Vodge Diper says:

So this track is the winner of the Velcro Records remix competition. The original is by Francophilippe and if you take a listen to his original you'll know immediately why I decided to remix this track - two words: Synth. Solos. ^___^

Anyway, I felt even though our styles are pretty different we are both staunch supporters of the coveted synth solo and hopefully you'll appreciate both tracks :)

It'll be dropping on July 27th so hopefully you'll all sell your children/kidneys/whatever to go buy this. Take it easy and peace.

Today's two tracks are HEAVY! If you're not ready for some bass moving every part of your body, do not preview today's tunes I'm not normally big into dubstep but we all need some explosions sometimes to shake things up and keep it interesting. It's loud and obnoxious just like it needs to be.

Uppermost is a bit gentler with a lot of electro influence while the NΛTION remix is just pure heavy dubstepping slaughter.

So I ask, Yay or Nay on thy dubstep?

Joe Garston - Top Of The World (Original Mix)

Been listening to this track a lot the last few days. I had not heard of Joe Garston before but this track rips it up. Not overwhelmingly headbanging but catchy enough I can play it several times on repeat and still not be bored of it. Excellent intro that reminds me of Pryda and then steps it up with bassy electro house! Best of all, today's gem is a free download so get it while it's hot!

This Italian duo smashes it up with their heavy synthesizers and their toothpaste! Bizzo and Alvin formed The 'S' in 2009 becoming recognized for their fierce yet melodic style. Their epic melodies have become huge hits in the underground electronic scene and the duo has managed to share the live stage with big names such as Deadmau5, Sebastian, Cyberpunkers, Crookers and others.

Their latest album DEATH & RAINBOWS EP was released yesterday, the 18th. Check it out below.

I know I have featured a lot of Dead C∆T Bounce tracks lately but these guys are on fire! I love their hard yet melodic electro style that translates into an eargasm. My only wish is that this preview was longer. There's no word to when the song will be released.

Ma5k - The Other Side + other related tracks

I want to share a few tracks that are not necessarily new but still brilliant. Been listening to them quite a bit over the last few days. The French sure do know how to do great electro. When I listen I feel like I'm going into space to the "other side".

Ma5k's style reminds me of Danger. Sort of retro sounding upbeat electro. Another favorite of mine from Ma5k is Perdide II. Check out the youtube video for a Danger track.

Q.G - Razor (DIGITAL COSMIC DISCO REMIX)

Middle Finger Music shared a track today labeled under the "Electro Cosmic" genre. It starts euphoric but goes hard about a minute in. The track is unique which gives it the "cosmic" flavor. It's beautiful and heavy all in one package.

I also noticed Middle Finger Music is giving out a free download for the track Kepler by Nation which is a favorite of mine. I featured Kepler in a previous post. Get the track for FREE here.

Today I'm going to share some tunes from Glitch Mob's recent ten track album "DRINK THE SEA". Their most recent EP, Warrior Concerto, was a favorite by many in my recent post so this ablum is worth putting here.

The Glitch Mob is a three person group from Los Angeles who made their name by performing live with laptops and controllers. You can see what I mean in the video below. It is quite epic.
